چکیده

Quercetin and ferulic acid are two phytochemicals extensively represented in the plant kingdom daily consumed considerable amounts through diets. Due to a common phenolic structure, these molecules share several pharmacological properties, e.g., antioxidant free radical scavenging, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-arrhythmic, vasorelaxant. The aim of present work was combination single chemical entity, conceivably endowed with more efficacious vasorelaxant activity. Preliminary silico studies herein described suggested that new hybrid compound bound spontaneously high affinity on KCa1.1 channel. Thus, synthesis 3′-ferulic ester derivative quercetin achieved its structure confirmed by 1H- 13C-NMR spectra, HSQC HMBC experiments, mass spectrometry, elementary analysis. effect vascular CaV1.2 channels revealed partial loss stimulatory activity characterizes parent quercetin. Therefore, further necessary identify better strategy improve properties this flavonoid.

Crystal structure of 2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one

Yellow-green fluorescent crystals of the title compound, C19H18O3, were obtained by the reaction of hy-droxy-aceto-phenone and 4-tert-butyl-benzaldehyde with hydrogen peroxide as oxidant. The plane of the benzene ring is slightly twisted to the mean plane of the 4H-chromene-4-one moiety (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0191 Å) by 10.53 (8)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by pairs of O-H⋯O hydrogen...

In the title compound, C(32)H(24)O(8), the mol-ecular structure is disordered over two positions with refined site occupancies of 0.8746 (10) and 0.1254 (10). The mean plane of the three chromeno rings make dihedral angles with each other of 65.12 (4), 62.91 (4) and 59.70 (4)° in the major occupancy component and 59.1 (3), 66.1 (3) and 58.8 (3)° in the minor component. SYNTHESIS AND PHARMACOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF 6-CARBETHOXY-5-(3'-BROMOPHENYL)-3-ARYL-2-CYCLOHEXENONES AND 6-ARYL-4-(3'-BROMOPHENYL)-3-OXO-2,3A,4,5-TETRAHYDRO-2H-INDAZOLES

6-Carbethoxy-5-(3'-bromophenyl)-3-aryl-2-cyclohexenones 2a-j were obtained from the1-Aryl-3-(3'-bromophenyl)-2-propene-1-ones 1a-j by Micheal addition of ethyl acetoacetate, followed by internal Claisen condensation. Reaction of 2a-j with hydrazine hydrate afforded the corresponding 6-Aryl-4-(3'-bromophenyl)-3-oxo-2,3a,4,5-tetrahydro-2H-indazoles 3a-j. The structures of newly synthesized compou...

Ethyl (E)-3-(6-methyl-4-oxo-4H-chromen-3-yl)prop-2-enoate

In the title compound, C(15)H(14)O(4), the chromone ring system is close to being planar [maximum deviation = 0.015 (2) Å]. The double bond of the ethyl prop-2-enoate chain adopts an E conformation and an intra-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bond generates an S6 ring. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds generate R(2) (2)(14) loops. Weak π-π inter-actions [centroid...

Green synthesis and evaluation of 5-(4-aminophenyl)-4-aryl-4H-1, 2, 4-triazole-3-thiol derivatives

The green synthesis of 5-(4-aminophenyl)-4-aryl-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol was achieved in four steps, In first step, 4-amino benzoic acid refluxed in ethanol along with catalyst Conc. Sulphuric acid to produce ethyl-4-amino benzoate I. Further compound I refluxed with hydrazine hydrate in ethanol to produce 4-amino benzohydrazide II. Compound II refluxed in ethanolic potassium hydroxide with ca...
